Former Amul managing director RS Sodhi joins Reliance Retail in advisory role
Sodhi, who led Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), which sells India’s largest dairy brand Amul, had been associated with the dairy cooperative for over four decades. His role at Reliance Retail Ventures (RRVL), the grocery arm of Reliance Industries, is seen as crucial to escalate the latter’s ambitious plans in the grocery business, the executives said.
