Ashwani Kumar steps down as Suzlon CEO, JP Chalasani takes over
Chalasani who has over 40 years of experience in the power sector, served as group CEO at Suzlon from 2016 to 2020. Chalasani was the chief executive and Managing Director of Punj Lloyd since January 2014. Ashwani Kumar's resignation comes despite a two-fold increase in profit for Suzlon in the October-December quarter at Rs 78 crore.
