Indian MSMEs’ bottomlines hit by volatile commodity prices, exports face headwinds: CRISIL

The profitability of Indian MSMEs was impacted by volatile commodity prices in the previous financial year that ended March 31, leading to credit rating downgrades, rating agency CRISIL said. Raising concerns for the export-oriented sectors, CRISIL said it expects this year's export to grow at around 2-4% compared to its estimation of 5-7% growth last year.
