In Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, 80 per cent of the wheat crop has been harvested, therefore there has not been much damage to the crop in these two states, he said. In other states, about 25 per cent of the area under wheat in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana was sown late and the untimely rains in these places are helping the crop growth, he added.
