After finishing CA, Gurgaon-based Tanmay Agrawal learnt two new skills - options trading and coding. He initially traded cash markets before moving to derivatives, which resulted in huge losses, prompting him to find a system in place, leading him to algorithmic trading. He now has over ten diverse trading portfolios with different strategies, risk, timing and rewards in a bid to achieve the same return with less risk. Agrawal believes risk management, position sizing and money management are critical to succeeding in the market.
