JICA India to loan Rs 520 crore for Forest and Biodiversity Conservation in West Bengal

Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has signed a loan agreement with the Indian government for the Project for Forest and Biodiversity Conservation for Climate Change Response in West Bengal. The loan's amount is JPY 9,308 million, and the project aims to mitigate and adapt to climate change, conserve and restore ecosystems and biodiversity, and enhance livelihoods of people.
