India must step up to provide an alternative to China now that there is a 'ceasefire' in the Saudi-Iranian (read: Sunni-Shia) entente. New Delhi could do well to draw on Bismarck's 'Kissingen Diktat' model of foreign policy that deters countries from coalitions against India by their (new-found) relations to each other.
