900 pilots, 4,200 cabin crew: Air India to go on hiring spree
After a mega deal with Airbus and Boeing, Air India now plans to hire over 4,200 cabin crew and 900 pilots this year as the airline looks to revamp its fleet. Earlier this month, the Tata Group-owned airline signed a whopping $80 billion deal with Airbus and Boeing to purchase 470 aircraft. It also plans to lease 36 aircraft and out of them, two B 777-200 LR have already been inducted.
