FSSAI to tighten front-of-the-pack labelling norms
The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) is in the process of framing rules for front-of pack nutrition labelling (FOPL) of packaged foods. Its draft guidelines, issued in September, propose star ratings for food quality, among other measures.
