Nearly a dozen areas have been identified, building on Budget 2022 that introduced the idea of circular economy in a few sectors. However, a transition to circular economy is not just the sum of sectoral efforts. A circular economy will require laying the foundation of an economy in which products and materials are designed in a manner that they can be reused, remanufactured, recycled or recovered.
