No IPO magic for CarTrade, loses 7.3% on debut day

The shares that were issued at ₹1,618 each opened trading at ₹1,600 on the BSE and fell to a low of ₹1,476 in early trade before closing at ₹1,500. This is the second IPO of the month that got listed at a discount to the offer price and the third consecutive initial share sale where high net worth individuals (HNIs) lost money.
