Toughest times may be over for Asia’s worst-performing currency

The Indian rupee, this year's worst-performing currency in Asia, may finally be ready to join the recovery seen in emerging markets.The rupee may strengthen to 75 per dollar by the end of December, an advance of about 1 per cent from Friday's close of 75.6475, according to a Bloomberg survey. The currency has dropped 5.6 per cent so far in 2020.
