Covid-19 impact: RBI increases WMA limit to Rs 2 lakh crore for April-September

In the first half of the fiscal between April and September, the central government can borrow from the RBI as much as Rs 2 lakh crore, up from Rs 1.2 lakh crore limit fixed in March, through the Ways and Means Advances (WMA) that could relieve the pressure on bond markets.
