New Maruti Suzuki Dzire 2024 Launched At Rs 6.7 Lakh

Maruti Suzuki has launched the new fourth generation Dzire compact sedan in India with a starting price of Rs 6.79 lakh.   The new Dzire is available with LXi, VXi and ZXi and ZXi+ variants with Rs 10.14 lakh for the top-end AMT. The new Dzire is also available with a CNG option which is priced at Rs 8.74 lakh and is available with a manual only.The new Dzire is based on the 5th gen Heartect platform and has been launched with a 1.2l three cylinder petrol engine with a 5-speed manual gearbox and an AMT automatic.The efficiency figure of the new Dzire AMT is 25.71 kmpl while the manual transmission version has a claimed efficiency of 24.79 kmpl. In terms of the dimensions, the new Dzire is still under 4m while having a length of 3995mm and a width of 2450mm. The ground clearance is 163mm unladen while the boot space has increased to 382 litres.Crucially, the new Dzire has much more safety equipment as standard and of course is the first Maruti Suzuki to get a 5-star GNCAP crash test rating.Other feature highlights include a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 360 degree view camera, a sunroof, climate control, connected car technology, cruise control, rear AC vents, Arkamys audio system and more.   To be sold in Arena dealerships, the new Dzire comes with a new design language including crystal LED headlamps, Trinity LED rear tail-lamps, 15-inch dual tone alloy wheels, a shark fin antenna, a rear spoiler and more.    The Dzire competes with the other compact sedans like the Honda Amaze which is also coming soon with a new model, Hyundai Aura, Tata Tigor.   In terms of sales, the new Dzire has been the most [popular sedan in India for a long time and has been hugely popular, with this update, Maruti Suzuki has brought in new technology, a new more fuel efficient engine, more features and yes safety.
