Road infrastructure budget cut by INR 1,358cr, no new flyovers or underpasses announced

The budget allocation for road infrastructure has come down from INR 3,126 crore for 2023-24 to INR 1,768 crore for 2024-25. Atishi, who is also minister for PWD, said, “The quality of road infrastructure is a crucial determinant of the pace of the economy of any country. The more govt invests in roads, the more it enables time and cost savings for the common people.”
