Curbs on BS-III petrol, BS-IV diesel cars to stay
Implemented in January 2016 for the first time as a measure to curb air pollution, the Delhi government has implemented the odd-even rule thrice so far. It was implemented in 2016 and in December 2019 while it had to call it off after NGT refused to give exemption to two-wheelers in 2017.
