Retail sales of electric two-wheelers in India for June 2023 saw a significant drop to 45,734 units, a 56.58% decline from the previous month. This decrease is attributed to the reduction of the FAME subsidy from 40% to 15% on June 1. Despite the decline, the top eight e-two-wheeler OEMs continue to dominate the market, accounting for 86.66% of total sales in June. Overall, the EV industry in India continues to perform well, with sales exceeding 100,000 units for the ninth consecutive month.
