NMRC cancels tender, wait for city bus service only gets longer

The city bus service for residents of Noida and Greater Noida will face further delays as the Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) has cancelled the tender awarded to a company due to "technical ineligibility". The NMRC will now launch two new tenders to procure 25 electric buses each. The buses will have a seating capacity of 24 and will be operated by the selected company. The city bus service was originally scheduled to start in August, but with the tender process restarting, meeting the deadline will be challenging.
