Berkshire Hathaway boosts stake in Occidental Petroleum to 25%
Berkshire Hathaway, controlled by Warren Buffet, has increased its stake in Occidental Petroleum Corp to over 25%. In June, Berkshire acquired 2.14 million Occidental shares for approximately USD 122.1 million, having previously purchased 4.66 million shares in May. Berkshire also owns about USD 9.5 billion of Occidental preferred stock and warrants.
