Paris region plans to launch electric flying taxis to operate on multiple routes when it hosts the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games next summer. German company Volocopter, an eVTOL manufacturer, is competing for permission to be the first commercial taxi flier by winning regulatory approval from European countries.
