Director general of police Jaspal Singh reviewed the status of enforcement of traffic rules under the various cells. "It is a matter of concern that fatalities on roads are increasing despite the fact that a massive enforcement drive has been initiated and riders and motorists have been challaned, figures for which runs into several lakhs," he said.
