Texmaco inksfreight car JV with Slovak Co

The total investment in the project will be around INR 350 crore. “There will be FDI component as well because Nymburk would also would invest in the JV,” vice chairman of Texmaco Rail & Engineering, Indrajit Mookerjee added. According to him, the project would employ 600 people which would go up to 1,000 in near future. “We are planning to start production from early next year in our new factory in Sodepur,” he added. Texmaco has its manufacturing units in Agarpara, Belgharia, Raipur and Panihati as well.
