Coal India to start generating 400 MW solar power in current fiscal
The CIL would be setting up thermal power plants in Madhya Pradesh and Odisha having a capacity of 660MW and 1600MW, respectively. The plant in Madhya Pradesh would be built over an existing facility, while in Odisha it will be entirely a greenfield project.
