Surat recorded highest sales of electric vehicle in 2022 at 21,872 units
A senior officer of the transport department said that CNG vehicles recorded 58% growth last year compared to 2021, but EV sales saw a 606% growth in the state in the same period. This is also way more than the country's EV sales growth of 211%.
