‘Hamilton’ leads race with 13 Olivier Awards nominations

LONDON (AP) --- The West End production of "Hamilton" leads the field for Britain's biggest theater awards, the Oliviers. Lin-Manuel Miranda's musical about U.S. founding father Alexander Hamilton opened in London in December. The show, whose varied score ranges from pop ballads to sexy R&B to rap battles, is nominated in 13 categories, including best new musical. Jamael Westman, in the title role, and Giles Terera as Aaron Burr are both nominated for best actor in a musical.
