TACLOBAN CITY, Philippines --- A powerful earthquake hit Eastern Samar province on Tuesday, a day after a 6.1-magnitude temblor shook Luzon, killing at least 11 people. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the 6.5-magnitude quake struck a few kilometers off San Julian town in Eastern Samar.
