Pagasa: Heat index in 13 locations considered ‘dangerous’

MANILA, Philippines --- Thirteen locations in the Philippines on Wednesday reported a heat index considered to be "dangerous," the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said. According to Pagasa, a heat index of 41C or higher is considered to be in the "danger" level and poses health risks. Pagasa explained that the heat index is the "apparent temperature or what humans perceive or feel as the temperature affecting the body."
