SC temporarily stops admission test for aspiring law students–source

    MANILA, Philippines---The Supreme Court temporarily stopped theLegal Education Board (LEB) from implementing the Philippine Law School Admission Test (Philsat) as a requirement for students' admission in law schools nationwide. A source said the resolution issuing the temporary restraining order may be released today, March 16 or on Monday. Under LEB'sMemorandum No. 7 issued in 2016, school year 2017-2018 was the pilot year for Philsat. During the pilot test, law schools are still allowed to enroll students who took the examinations but did not pass the tests.
