Lucknow: Armed assailants barged into a jewellery shop last evening in Mathura and killed two traders. The matter has grabbed the attention of UP CM Yogi Adityanath, who has ordered the state police chief to visit Mathura. He also demanded to know why no arrests have been made so far despite the CCTV evidence.Watch: Jewellers killed, looted by assailants in MathuraYogi Adityanath also expressed anger inside the UP assembly, according to state minister Shrikant Sharma, who is a lawmaker from Mathura. "I want to assure the house that the rule of law will prevail in Uttar Pradesh. There will be absolutely no protection for criminals in the state," said an irate Yogi Adityanath inside the UP assembly.Ironically, the robbery occurred on the very day that the opposition lawmakers in the assembly resorted to an unruly way of protesting against lawlessness in Uttar Pradesh -- by targeting Governor Ram Naik with paper missiles and posters. They also created a ruckus by standing on their seats, all the while shouting slogans.
