Krish makes edge-of-seat thriller in Rs 10 lakh

“As he was highly fascinated with the script actor, Nandha did it free for me," says debutant director Krish who has completed his travel adventure film Zhagaram, based on a novel by Kava Kamz in just Rs 10 lakh. Eden Kuriakose is the female lead. Vishnu Bharat, Meenesh Krishna and Chandramohan are also part of the cast.

“For that matter all those who have worked in the film have not taken any salary. They are passionate about work and contributed their best having trust in my abilities. A Rs 10 lakh budget does not mean it is a short film and we have not compromised on quality," asserts Krish while speaking to DC.

The flick is based on the Tamil fiction novel Project Akku written by Kava Kamz.

The story revolves around four people who go in search of a hidden treasure and the startling stuff they come across. The film, an edge-of -the- seat thriller, is shot in Chennai, Vizag, Kanchipuram, Thanjavur and Coimbatore.
