Sai Dharam Tej, who recently left to the US for a month to undergo a makeover, finally made an appearance at the launch of his new film that coincides with his birthday on Monday. Titled Chitralahari, the breezy entertainer will be directed by Kishore Tirumala of Nenu Sailaja fame.
“After having worked extensively on the script, we are glad that the film has been launched today. The regular shooting of the film will commence from November 2,” says one of the producer of the film.
Sai Dharam Tej, who is not enjoying a good run at the box office, is hoping that Chitralahari will give him that much-needed hit. Meanwhile, the film’s leading lady, Kalyani Priyadarshan states that she’s all excited to be part of the project. “I could instantly connect with the script and my character after I heard the narration. It is a role that has great scope for performance and I strongly believe this project will take me forward in terms of acting.”
Naveen Yerneni, Ravi Shankar and Mohan Cherukuri from Mythri Movies Makers are producing the action drama.
