"We've been following their journey till the finals. I think they have played some really good cricket and we always felt that this team has something special in them. With Rahul Dravid being their coach, we know these guys will do their best. Every game that they have played, they have destroyed the opponent and that is always good to see. Their fast bowling has been really impressive, everybody has been talking about their bowling," Rohit said.
"I just hope they do the same in the finals as well. I know it's not going to be that easy, winning a championship is never easy but we can wish them for sure. The entire Indian team is watching them and on behalf of the entire squad here, we wish them and hope they can bring the Cup back to India," he added.

Kohli, currently the skipper of the national side also tasted glory with the U-19 team in the 2008 edition held at Malaysia. Kohli, who interacted with the young bunch before they left for New Zealand stated that the confidence in them was on a different level in comparison to the side he led.
"It feels amazing (to see them do well). I interacted with them before they left and its a lovely bunch of boys. Compared to our lot (when India won in 2008 under Kohli), the confidence levels are somewhere else which is a great sign," said Kohli.
