Yes, you heard it right, the film is having a phenomenal run in China. 'Secret Superstar' had released in China on 19 January 2018 and since then it has been performing extremely well at the Box Office. Aamir Khan has once again taken the Chinese box office by storm, after his last film 'Dangal'. The film had collected 200 crores in the first three days of the release itself, beating Hollywood films like 'Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle' and 'Maze Runner: The Death Cure' etc. 'Secret Superstar' is also the second film to cross 500 crore mark in China after 'Dangal'. Aamir Khan has broken his own record with 'Secret Superstar'. 'Dangal' was also a huge hit at the at the Box Office in China and with 'Secret Superstar' we can say that Aamir Khan has added another feather to his cap. 'Secret Superstar' is a film essentially based on music with the lead protagonist Insia played by Zaira Wasim being an aspiring singer. The young girl faces resistance from her father after which she opts to follow her dreams by posting videos on social media anonymously. She becomes an overnight sensation and grabs the attention of Shakti Kumar a talented music director and singer played by Aamir Khan. Produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao under the banner name of Aamir Khan Productions, Zee Studios and Akash Chawla, 'Secret Superstar' is written and directed by Advait Chandan. The film was released in China on 19th January 2018 and is enjoying a phenomenal run at the Chinese Box Office.
